Field phone number

The solution is to use a Number field with the “numeric plus” validation, name it Phone, set a minimum and a maximum number of characters to it and a prefix.
For example, for 3-3-4, limit the min. and max. no. of characters to 10.

we need to have more flexibility in the phone number. We have international clients and the mobile number must have +code (example for Italy +39 and for France +33) and the lenght of the numbers and format depend on every country, even in Italy you have some mobile numbers with 3-3-4 and others with 3-3-3.
How to resolve this issue? this is blocking.
