Meet Our New Archive Feature!

Hey there! We’re happy to announce a new addition to our platform: the Archive feature! This tool is all about making your form management experience smoother and more efficient. Whether you’re looking to declutter your workspace or simply organize your forms, the Archive feature is here to help you keep everything in order while ensuring your important data stays safe.

How It Works

Using the Archive feature is a breeze! If you have forms that you no longer need for active use, you can easily move them to the Archive. Just select the form from the overflow menu or drag and drop it into the Archive section. Once archived, the form won’t be visible to respondents, but don’t worry— all the data it collected will still be accessible to you.

Before you archive a form, we’ll prompt you with a confirmation message. This way, you’ll know that while the form will be inactive, all its data remains intact. You can choose to confirm or cancel the archiving process.

Why You’ll Love Archiving

Archiving forms comes with some great benefits! When you archive a form, it won’t count toward your total form limit, which means you can make room for new projects while keeping older forms for reference. The Archive section offers a clear view similar to your main forms list, where you can see form names, folder locations, creation dates, and key metrics like views and submissions.

And if you ever need to bring back an archived form, it’s super easy! Each archived form has an “Unarchive” option in its menu, allowing you to restore it either to its original folder or a new location. If your account reaches its form limit, we’ll notify you and suggest options for upgrading or deleting other forms before unarchiving.

Bulk Actions for Your Convenience

To make things even easier, we’ve added bulk actions! You can archive, unarchive, or delete multiple forms at once. Just select the forms you want to manage and use our quick action buttons to streamline your workflow. Deleting a form from the Archive is just as simple as from your main list—plus, we’ll always ask for confirmation to prevent any accidental deletions.

Subuser Permissions

For teams with multiple users, we’ve got your permissions covered! Subusers with the right permissions can easily move forms in and out of the Archive. If a sub user doesn’t have permission to deactivate a form, they won’t be able to archive or unarchive it. We ensure that access control remains consistent even after archiving.

Available for Premium Users

Just a heads up: the Archive feature is available exclusively for our premium users starting from the Gold plan. If you’re on a free plan and try to access this feature, you’ll see an option to upgrade!
