Are you looking to streamline your email marketing efforts and grow your subscriber list effortlessly? Look no further! With 123FormBuilder’s Mailchimp integration, you can automate your data collection and enhance your marketing campaigns easily.

Why Integrate 123FormBuilder with Mailchimp?

123FormBuilder offers a powerful and user-friendly form designer that integrates natively with Mailchimp. This integration allows you to boost your email Marketing through the following:

  • Automate Data Collection: Automatically sync form submissions with your Mailchimp lists, ensuring your contact information is always up-to-date.
  • Segment Your Audience: Easily segment your contacts into relevant groups for targeted email campaigns.
  • Enhance Email Outreach: Personalize your email marketing efforts by updating existing contact data and adding new subscribers seamlessly.

Key Features of 123FormBuilder’s Mailchimp Integration

  1. No-Code Customization: Create and customize your forms with a drag-and-drop editor without any coding skills and over 30 form elements.
  1. Conditional Logic: Build dynamic forms that change based on user input, providing a personalized experience.
  1. Secure Data Collection: Ensure the safety of your data with SSL encryption, reCAPTCHA, and compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO standards.

How to Set Up the Integration

Setting up the integration between 123FormBuilder and Mailchimp is straightforward:

  1. Create or edit a form in your 123FormBuilder account.
  1. Navigate to the Set-up button in the menu at the top of the editor and select Integrations
  1. Find and select Mailchimp from the available integrations. Click in the “search bar” if it is not among the first integrations displayed.
  1. Log in to your Mailchimp account and go to your account settings. Click on the dot in the top right with your account picture or initials. Select “Profile” from the dropdown.
  1. Click on the Extras tab in the top menu and select API keys from the dropdown.
  1. Scroll down, and you will see a button that says “Create a key.” Click on it. A new window will open with new instructions. There you must give an intuitive name for the key you want to generate and click “Generate key”.
  1. A code will be generated on a line below Your API keys. That is your API key. Copy it and go to 123FormBuilder Mailchimp Integration.
  1. Paste the API key in the Mailchimp application box of your form builder account.

Customizing Your Mailchimp Integration

Available Actions

In the Customize lightbox, you can select one of two available actions from the dropdown menu:

  • Add subscriber – This creates a new subscriber in your selected Mailchimp list.
  • Unsubscribe email – This removes the submitted email address from your Mailchimp list.

Note: You can only select one action per integration. Choose the option that aligns with your form’s purpose.

Additional Options

The Options section provides further customization:

  • Update existing subscribers – This allows you to update information for contacts already in your list.
  • Double opt-in – Requests confirmation before adding new subscribers to your list.

Important: These two options cannot be used simultaneously – you must choose one based on your needs.

Groups

If you’ve created groups within your Mailchimp list, you can use the Groups subsection to organize new subscribers accordingly. This helps with segmentation and targeted email campaigns.

Field Mapping

In the Fields section, you match your 123FormBuilder fields with corresponding Mailchimp fields. Pay special attention to required Mailchimp fields – these must be matched with form fields to ensure proper data transfer. For optimal results, make these form fields needed as well.

Error Handling

Set up error notifications by specifying an email address in the Error Handling subsection. This ensures you’re promptly informed of any issues that might occur during form submission
