As we approach the end of the year, it’s time to reflect on the significant strides made by 123FormBuilder throughout 2024. Innovative features, enhancements, and integrations have packed this year, improving user experience and functionality.

Let’s take a month-by-month look at the key updates and releases that shaped 123FormBuilder in 2024.

January: Enhanced User Engagement

The year kicked off with a focus on improving user engagement. Introducing the “Save for Later” feature in email notifications helps users send reminders to respondents, ensuring they don’t overlook important forms. Additionally, simplified field settings streamlined the form creation process, while Salesforce improvements enabled users to update existing records more efficiently by selecting an option when multiple records are found.

February: My Forms Revamp

In February, we made significant improvements to the My Forms section. Users could now view how many times each form was accessed, boosting transparency and engagement metrics. We also introduced a new meta image display and redesigned the layout for multiple sections, offering a more visually appealing interface—additionally, a new folder feature improved organization.

March: New Form Modal Launch

March brought a fresh experience with the launch of the New Form Modal. This feature simplified form creation by providing an intuitive interface where users could easily edit form titles and select folders from a dropdown menu. Additionally, new triggers for prefill in Salesforce enhanced data accuracy by allowing an automatic population of fields based on user input.

April: Payment Integrations Update

April was all about payment solutions. The updates included enhancements to PayPal Checkout and Square integration, making transactions smoother for users. Furthermore, an updated upload manager section improved form file management, ensuring users could handle submissions more effectively.

May: Revamped Thank You Page

In May, 123FormBuilder unveiled a revamped Thank You page, enhancing post-submission communication with respondents. Introducing an image crop and edit tool for single and multiple choice fields also improved image management, allowing users to easily add or modify images within their forms.

June: Accessibility Compliance Achieved

June marked a significant milestone as 123FormBuilder achieved Accessibility compliance, meeting both Level A and Level AA standards according to WCAG 2.1 guidelines. This commitment to inclusivity ensures that all users can access and utilize forms effectively.

Additionally, updates to product field design and new email notification events for failed payments further enhanced user experience.

July: Template Saving Feature

The “Save as Template” feature was introduced in July, allowing users to create reusable form templates and streamline future form creation. The integration with Zapier provided a full embedded experience for users looking to automate workflows. Moreover, a pending status was added to the submission table to clarify payment flows during uncertain payment statuses.

August: Product Field with Stock Launch

August saw the launch of stock control with product field that cater to e-commerce needs. This feature allows users to easily manage product availability within their forms, providing an efficient way to display whether a product is in stock or out of stock directly on the form. This month also marked initial steps toward introducing inline editing within the editor, enhancing usability by allowing real-time modifications.

September: Archiving and Custom Variables

September introduced an Archive feature, enabling users to manage their forms more effectively by storing inactive forms out of sight. The ability to use custom variables on Thank You pages added personalization options while marking payments as donations in Stripe streamlined charitable contributions.

🎉Exciting News

In September, 123FormBuilder was acquired by Kiteworks, a global leader in secure communication and data exchange solutions. This acquisition marks a pivotal moment for 123FormBuilder, bringing even greater resources, security capabilities, and technological advancements to enhance the platform.

With Kiteworks‘ expertise in secure data management, users can expect stronger data protection, more robust compliance features, and expanded integrations in the future. This partnership is a significant step toward continuing to provide innovative and secure form solutions.

October: Enhanced Usability and Customization

In October, we made significant updates to enhance usability and accessibility. The translation modal now supports rich text formatting, making communication more effective for diverse user bases. We also introduced detailed invoices for PayPal Checkout and Stripe transactions, improving financial transparency for users.

Additionally, folder customization received a major upgrade. You can now choose a color for your folders from a predefined set or use the color picker for a personalized touch. To further streamline organization, we’ve added a selection of icons to help you quickly identify folders at a glance. And for folders you use often, mark them as favorites with the star icon to keep them easily accessible. These updates prioritize convenience and efficiency across the platform.

November: Inline Editing Enhancements

November brought further enhancements, with inline editing capabilities extended to labels and instructions for all forms created or duplicated after November 11th. Salesforce improvements allowed users to filter failed submissions easily, ensuring better data integrity management.

December: Year-End Design Changes

December brought a fresh design to our email notifications. With clearer instructions and default display settings, it’s now easier to customize emails that keep users and respondents informed. Plus, we made improvements to Salesforce by introducing a new logic operator in Lookup filters: “is not empty.” This update enhances data filtering capabilities, allowing users greater flexibility when managing Salesforce submissions and ensuring more accurate data handling.
